Windsor Royal Station, Windsor

This external refurbishment project on behalf of property investors, AXA Sun Life, involved the replacement of materials on a like for like basis on the Grade II listed Station Masters House and Concourse at Windsor Royal Station.

The project comprised renewing the Welsh slates to the main roof of the Station Masters House with related lead works including decorative work, the renewal of lead box gutter, replacing red rubber feature brickwork, general repairs and redecorations to all elevations. The external works to the main Concourse roof included removing and replacing all defective sashes to the roof lights and the removal and reinstatement of the glazed roofs. The glazing bars were replaced along with general repairs and the decoration to all new and previously painted surfaces. Works also involved an internal Birdcage scaffold erected over the plaza outside trading hours to allow the retail units and cafes to trade normally throughout the project.
